Please note this is a hybrid publishing submission. Not all manuscripts will be accepted and a discussion will need to take place either in an online meeting, in-person meeting or through email, before work commences.

The outcome of submitting through this form could be a completed and ready to publish book, that includes:

  • the manuscript itself, book layout

  • book cover design

  • uploading your manuscript to publishing platforms

  • book distribution (limited)

  • marketing materials for your book

  • publishing your book under Fae Editions

  • ISBNs that you own

You retain the rights to your books in totality.

We take out the guesswork and help you get published.

For non-fiction books, we are working on an imprint. Please fill out the form and select non-fiction and we’ll discuss it further.

How it works

Books / Manuscripts

You give us the manuscript in its draft form, we edit it, do the internal layout, design the book cover, upload it for you on book publishing platforms, publish it under Fae Editions and provide marketing materials.

*Prices start at €3000 and depending on the state of your manuscript, and how much work that needs to be done to get it ready for publishing. If it needs to be completely rewritten, or the first draft is under 60k words, the price will increase exponentially.

Fae Editions is a specialised editorial craft production house. We work with authors, including non-native English writers across Germany and Scandinavia, to help you bring your manuscripts and content to a professional, market-ready standard.

What We Offer

We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every client. Have something else in mind? We'd be happy to work with you to create a custom quote.

  • We take your manuscript, polish it, design the internal layout and book cover, upload it to book publishing platforms, provide marketing materials and publish the book under Fae Editions.

    This is what is termed hybrid publishing.

  • At Fae media we are deeply genre-literate editors who will cheer for
    your morally grey characters, push your pacing until it's genuinely
    unputdownable, and tell you when the magic system has a hole in it.

    Fae media might be a good fit if:

    • You're writing fantasy, romantasy, dark
      romance, dark academia, sci-fi, or dystopian
      fiction

    • You want an editor who reads your genre for
      pleasure, not just professionally

    • You need honest structural feedback — not
      just encouragement

    • You're ready to make your manuscript the best
      version of itself

  • If you’re not ready for a full developmental edit and want a shorter, manuscript review we offer a service for this. A manuscript review will help you to get your duck’s in a row and tell you where you can improve your manuscript.

  • We offer line editing, copyediting and proofreading of your books, and general overall editing.

  • We work with you to outline your non-fiction book to make sure it’s marketable, reflects your expertise and to help you write your book.

  • If you’re not sure where to start, we offer book guidance as a service to help you decide what to write about.

  • If you want to write a book, but don’t have the time or expertise, we offer ghostwriting as a service. You can share your notes, concept, subject expertise and book goal and we can turn it into a book for you.

    Note: This is a limited service and only offered on a piece-by-piece arrangement.

Our Process

Initial Pass

We take an initial pass of your manuscript to determine feasibility and right fit.

Manuscript Discussion

We send you a proposal for your manuscript that includes timelines, cost and proposed work.

Contract Discussion

We send you a contract proposal that includes pricing, finalised work proposal and inclusions.

Work begins

After the contract of work is agreed upon, and a deposit paid, we get to work.

Book Editing Services

Professional book editing and manuscript reviews

Manuscript review to give feedback on the development of your story and what needs to be done to get it ready for publishing.

Developmental Editing

Full developmental editing of your manuscript to ensure cohesion, plot direction and flow.
